The Pharmacy 340b Coordinator collaborates with personnel across the covered entity and health system to facilitate the 340b program. The 340b Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the covered entity meets all State and Federal regulatory requirements. In collaboration with the authorizing official and primary contact, the 340b Coordinator assists with oversight and integrity of the 340b program including: setting policy, evaluating and implementing new programs, supporting of internal & external audits, oversight of drug purchasing pertinent to the 340b program, inventory processes, split billing software maintenance, staff education, development of contract pharmacy programs and being a liaison to senior leadership. This individual oversees, reviews, and integrates the flow of data to identify and mitigate issues that affect the integrity and compliance with the 340b program.

Qualifications: 
Experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting required
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in Pharmacy technology systems [e.g., split billing software, EPIC, AcuDose systems, Omnicell systems, etc.] required
  • Extensive knowledge and minimum three (3) years 340b drug program experience and associated regulatory requirements required
  • Minimum 3-5 years� experience in data analysis, financial modeling, data management [pharmacy or healthcare environment] preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with data manipulation and analysis tools [e.g., Microsoft Excel] preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate program and technical information in writing, verbally and via formal presentation preferred
  • Experience collecting from multiple data sources (Access/MS/SQL Svr, flat files, etc ) using hospital decision support systems, Epic, McKesson, MacroHelix and/ or various healthcare clinical data systems preferred

Education

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts in healthcare related field preferred, or equivalent business-related experience preferred
  • Graduated from a Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred
  • California Registered Pharmacy Technician license required
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certificate preferred
