Position Summary

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Orange Coast Medical Center. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  • Meets population specific competencies.
  • Demonstrates the ability to safely and competently perform assigned tasks/duties according to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participates in processes that improve the standards of care and practice in the delivery of nursing service.
  • Demonstrates the ability to safely and completely use equipment in the performance of assignment.
  • Utilizes effective communication with patients, families, and staff members.
  • Support sustainment of the magnet culture.
  • Possesses knowledge of job specific competencies and demonstrates ability to safely perform tasks associated with job responsibilities
Qualifications: 

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience

  • 2+ years of nursing support experience in hospital and/or medical environment.
  • A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) is required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
  • California Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certification
  • A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) is required.
