The Emergency Care Technician (ECT) is an unlicensed caregiver working under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Physician. The ECT provides the most basic of patient care including, but not limited to: vital sign collection, specimen collection, performance of ECG testing, and delivery of personal hygiene/physical care. ECT’s perform tasks as assigned and are instrumental in facilitating departmental/unit flow activities that support patient care and promote a safe, clean environment.
Pay Range: $23.0
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. High school diploma or equivalency
One year acute care experience preferred
Basic computer knowledge preferred
Education
Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification required
Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers card
