Position Summary:
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values: Integrity, Accountability, Best Practices, Compassion, and Synergy. The employee shall support Saddleback Medical Center's strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of food service tasks including high quality assembly and distribution of food, operation of food service equipment, dishwashing, and setup of patient, cafeteria, and physician's lounge areas. Maintains a clean and safe work environment for customers and employees.
Experience:
- Ability to understand written and verbal communication in English
- Previous restaurant or acute care hospital foodservice experience preferred.
