Position Summary
Under direct supervision of the nurse, works cooperatively with all members of the health care team performing patient care for the Emergency Department, Urgent Care and Minor Care adult and pediatric patient, stocking supplies and performing clerical activities to assist the nurse and physician in meeting the patient care needs. Adheres to policies and procedures and facilitates a safe and clean working environment for the Emergency Department, Urgent Care and Minor Care.
Minimum Requirements
- Six months experience in an emergency department setting or 12 months as an ambulance attendant.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification is required pre-hire.
- California Phlebotomy Certification is required.
- Current CA EMT-1 license is preferred.
