Under general supervision, the per diem Occupational Therapist II conducts patient assessments, participates in the development of the plan of care, implements treatment, and provides care according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs. Demonstrates flexibility and good communication skills and collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of care.
This position requires Saturday and holiday coverage of the inpatient pediatric dysphagia population.
Pay Rate: $58.00/hr.
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Two-years experience in pediatric dysphagia, preferably in a hospital setting.
Required: Licensure by the California Board of Occupational Therapy. Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). CCS paneled or working to fulfill requirements. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider Certification. Recommended: Membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC).
