MemorialCare Medical Group has an opening for a full time Pediatrician working out of the Torrance clinic.
Practice Details
- Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
- Become eligible for Partner/Shareholder status after two years (if working full time)
- Outpatient only practice
- Call Coverage schedule: 3 shifts per month in the Urgent Care
- 2 evening (6-10 pm), and 1 Saturday or Sunday (9am-6pm)
- No overnight or hospital call – admissions handled by Hospitalists
- Moonlighting: Earn extra money by picking up urgent care call shifts
- Evening shift (6-10pm)
- Weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday 9am – 6 pm)
- Urgent Care locations: Long Beach-Los Altos, Fountain Valley, San Juan Capistrano, and Huntington Beach
- Daily schedule: 18-21 patients per day (average)
- Office hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (last patient scheduled at 4:30 pm)Employee

- Based on: 80% RVU, 20% Panel size
- RVU Productivity can be earned: Urgent care shifts, attending meetings, participating in committees

- 176 days worked (equivalent of 8 weeks off)
