Purpose Statement / Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to support the activities of the Decision Support department of all MemorialCare Health System campuses, which serves all levels of administrative and clinical management with financial and quantitative statistics. 

The Decision Support Analyst Senior is responsible for providing strategic analytical support to multiple departments within the organization. Responsibilities are focused on providing system analysis, modeling and strategic recommendations and overall development and maintenance of analytical tools designed to monitor and influence operational decisions which support the growth of MemorialCare Health System. Excellent communication skills and intermediate level use of Excel and Access are required. The ability to learn systems quickly and with confidence is critical to succeed in this position

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare preferred

Minimum 6 years or more work experience in a hospital/healthcare setting

Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Office products

Expertise in extracting data from a variety of financial systems is essential

Cost accounting, Budgeting and ROI experience is highly desired

Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior management

Education

 Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or related; in lieu of this significant experience in healthcare finance will be considered
