Pay Range*: $159,057 - $218,696 annually

Position Summary

The Director, Enterprise PMO provides leadership and direct oversight for the day-to-day operations of the IS Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring that enterprise IT projects are governed, prioritized, and executed efficiently. This role manages the PMO team, standardizes project management methodologies, aligns initiatives with organizational goals, and collaborates with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

·Strategic Portfolio Management: Leads the governance, prioritization, and execution of the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

·PMO Oversight & Process Standardization: Establishes and enforces standardized project management methodologies, frameworks, and reporting structures to drive efficiency.

·Team Leadership & Development: Directly manages and mentors portfolio directors, program managers, project managers, and project coordinators, fostering professional growth and performance.

·Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Works closely with operational and clinical leadership to ensure projects address business and patient care needs.

·Risk & Issue Management: Identifies, mitigates, and escalates project risks to maintain smooth execution and minimize disruptions.

·Financial & Resource Management: Oversees project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to maximize cost-effectiveness and operational performance.

·Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develops key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to measure project success and PMO effectiveness.

·Governance & Compliance: Ensures that all projects adhere to regulatory, security, and compliance requirements in a healthcare environment.

·Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Implements best practices, drives process enhancements, and introduces new tools to optimize project delivery and execution.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

Proven leadership experience managing a PMO or large-scale IT project portfolio in a healthcare or enterprise environment.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and portfolio management best practices.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership to drive project success.

Ability to assess and mitigate project risks while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
