Position Summary

MemorialCare's Super User Ambassadors serve as the primary liaison between the designated Super Users across clinical and operational departments and the Enterprise IS support, training and application teams. This role is partnership focused and responsible for fostering strong verbal and written communication, ensuring Super Users have the resources necessary to be effective in supporting their peers and promoting knowledge and engagement through Epic Upgrades, project implementations, and day-to-day Epic workflows and optimization efforts. They serve as the main point of contact for all Super Users across the health system and, in collaboration with IS teams, Super User Ambassadors help develop and distribute training materials, tip sheets, and tools tailored to the Super Users’ area of expertise, ensuring Suer Users receive all pertinent information in a timely manner to socialize, engage, and support their end-user colleagues effectively.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

Super User Engagement and Communication

  1. Serve as the main point of contact for all Super Users across the health system.
  2. Work with operational leadership across the health system to maintain up-to-date Super User contact lists.
  3. Provide clear and concise communication for Epic upgrades, project implementations and other system changes to the Super User community.
  4. Organize and facilitate meetings and huddles as needed to share updates and gather feedback.
  5. Report feedback received to appropriate technical or Epic applications teams.
  6. Design and implement strategies to retain and expand the Super User network.

Support and Resource Development

  1. Partner with training team to develop and distribute training materials, tip sheets, FAQs tailored to the Super Users’ area of expertise.
  2. Ensure Super Users receive and understand tools and resources with the most up to date information needed to support their peers effectively.
  3. Assist in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing for go-live readiness.
  4. Track issues and escalate as needed for resolution.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of Epic systems and clinical applications preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead meetings, manage communications, and support large-scale initiatives.
  • Experience with training, coaching, or end-user support preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
