Position Summary
The Manager of MemorialCare Medical Specialty Group (MSMG) will act as a liaison between various stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient management of resources of MSMG within MemorialCare Medical Foundation. This role requires strong communication abilities and a deep understanding of healthcare management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
- Liaison: Act as the liaison between Institute leaders, hospitals, and MCMF. Understand all aspects of PSA and identify the appropriate contacts for various aspects of the work.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as the SME on all things FPC.
- Operationalize Requests: Manage new requests, including onboarding PAs into MCMG and leasing them back to MSMG, and bringing on new FPC.
- Intake and Review: Handle intake, review requests, and validate funding sources. Coordinate with legal, HR, billing, accounting, and MSO services as required.
- Resource Approval: Approve funding for additional resources when needed.
- Meeting Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate quarterly FPC joint operating meetings. Follow up on identified issues.
- Single Point of Contact: Serve as the single point of contact for MSMG providers, offering expertise in PSA language to guide them on obtaining resources or reaching out to the right contacts.
- New FPC Proposals: Partner with business development to draft proformas and sponsor implementation plans for new proposed FPCs.
- Billing and Coding: Collaborate with billing, coding, and AP teams to ensure timely and accurate billing, coding, and charge reconciliation.
- Compensation: Partner with relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely compensation and payments to providers.
*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in a specialty in a group setting
Strong communication skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
Experience with quality improvement initiatives.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare management preferred, business administration, or a related field preferred.
