Position Summary

This individual will perform technical and clerical duties of an MRI technologist in Imaging Services. They must demonstrate the ability to work with the MRI Safety practices. Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating MRI section to assure optimal quality services. The employee will also be expected to support all organizational expectations including, but not limited to; Customer Service, Patient’s Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care and Memorial Care initiatives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

• Ability to perform all aspects of MRI imaging.
• Ability to effectively communicate pertinent patient information to the radiologist.
• Ability to evaluate the demands of Physicians, Patients, staff and superiors.
• Ability to effectively identify and implements performance improvement techniques.
• Ability to deliver quality customer service.
• Ability to be at work and be on time.
• Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives.
• Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience

• Minimum one year MRI technologist supervisory experience preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• ARRT (MR) Certification or ARMRIT Certification (MRI Techs hired before 2023 do not required ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT)
• IV Certification required
• American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
