Pay Range*: $47.15 to $68.37

Position Summary
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with our core values: Accountability, Best Practices, Compassion and Synergy. The employee shall support Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities.
Utilizing the nursing process, the RN is responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for the Special Procedures patient in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Nursing Department. Responsibilities include directing unlicensed employee activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning of care/intervention, teaching patients/family, implementation of treatment plan/MD orders, and evaluation of care rendered. The RN must effectively communicate and document data relevant to the care of the patient. In addition, the RN collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
This Cardiac Recovery (CVOU) RN position includes care for the preoperative and postoperative patients in the following specialty areas: Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Peripheral Vascular, Neurovascular Interventions and TAVR procedures. In addition, supports moderate sedation care provided for TEE, Cardioversions, Bronchoscopy and EBUS procedure patients.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
- One year acute care nursing experience, consideration will be made for a candidate with strong educational and associated experiential background.
- Computer, internet, order entry and word processing experience preferred.
- Critical Care/Telemetry experience preferred
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Card (BLS)
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Care (ACLS)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
