Position Summary

Responsible for assistance of the asthma program evaluation procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, evaluating the effectiveness of program objectives and processes. This position will ensure timeliness and accuracy of outcomes reports to the program manager/supervisor, program funders, stakeholders, and/or academic institutions. Will work with the program manager/supervisor for the evaluation and ongoing review of data collection, analysis and reporting; and will ensure compliance with on-going research protocols and requirements. Will evaluate the efficiency of data collection, analyze trends, and implement changes in collaboration with the program manager/supervisor as required; will provide updated educational trainings for the department’s team as data collection and/or database protocols are developed; and will assist in developing protocols for program staff productivity standards, goals and objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  1. Monitor program quality assurance and quality control protocols
  2. Program database updates, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  3. Data analysis and reporting (including data verification and preparation)
  4. Fiscal year-end data analysis and reporting
  5. Ongoing technical assistance
  6. Evaluation training facilitation and preparation
  7. Update program database: revisions and data consolidation

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in program evaluation activities, including building and managing databases for quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, designing research and evaluation plans, identifying and assessing data collection tools, and in developing strategic frameworks that support program assessments and change initiatives.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience working with non-profit, health, community stakeholders, and/or academic partners.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) preferred 
  • Certification in Human Subjects Research Protection, CITI program, and HIPAA requirements.
