The Sr. Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved by developing and executing cost effective traditional as well as creative sourcing, recruiting and retention strategies that enable MemorialCare to recruit and retain talented and highly motivated employees. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent and are aligned with industry best practices. In addition, as a member of the Talent Acquisition team, this position is responsible for championing the company's mission and values.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  • Responsible for all phases of the recruiting and hiring cycle, including consulting with hiring manager to determine/conduct needs analysis, position requirements, and develop a recruiting strategy. Advertise positions on various sites, source and cold call candidates, review resumes, prescreen candidates, schedule and conduct interviews. Ensure all positions are filled within established metrics.
  • Continuously explore alternative staffing, sourcing, and selection techniques to align with industry best practices.
  • Market and sell the organization�s brand to prospective candidates; explaining the overall MemorialCare company culture and benefits.Persuade candidates to gain interest in employment with MemorialCare.
  • Conduct compensation analysis prior to extending a job offer to determine appropriate salary offers in relation to internal comparable salaries; ensuring equity analysis are performed.
  • Develop, analyze, track and report recruiting and turnover metrics to measure effectiveness, implement changes or other best practices. Analyze recruiting policies and practices recommending changes as appropriate. Prepare and distribute accurate and timely monthly and ad hoc reporting.
  • Partner with and provide guidance and training to Hiring Managers on writing effective job descriptions, researching market appropriate rates, utilizing proper interview techniques, and compliance with state, federal and company guidelines.
  • Develops and fosters relationships with schools in order to build pipelines of student/candidates for job openings in various areas of the organization.


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with full cycle talent acquisition, recruiting or combination of other related experience and education.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to operationalize policies, programs and initiatives related to talent acquisition.
  • Strong and demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Previous experience in knowledge with employment, AA/EEO laws and regulations pertaining to recruitment.
  • Experience developing and conducting stand up training.
  • Expert level using an Applicant Tracking system; Business Edition ATS and ATS reporting required.
  • Previous experience sourcing, social media and skills using the latest technology.
  • Previous experience in healthcare recruitment required.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and administering creative recruitment plans, campaigns and initiatives to generate candidate pools for hard to fill positions.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with hiring managers, employees, medical staff and the general public.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products including, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently as needed.

Bachelor's Degree required or combination of related experience. Certification in Recruiting preferred
