Position Summary
Under general supervision, Healthcare Analytic Developer delivers analytic solutions in the Managed Care Analytics department serving MMF Finance and other business units by leveraging the appropriate BI tool for the type of analysis needed.This includes, but is not limited to, static reports, dynamic reports, self-service portals, data exploration, data visualization, and statistical or predictive analysis tools.They can develop complete solutions of medium complexity, incorporating source data into existing or new data structures, enriching master data repositories and data dictionaries in the process, and providing appropriate end-user interface(s) to meet the clinical or business
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
- Develops reports, dashboards, and analytics packages using the full range of functionality available through MemorialCare’s business intelligence suite of tools
- Processes and analyzes information from any relevant and available data source in support of MemorialCare goals
- Ensures that data that is presented to the customer is connected to the enterprise data dictionary, standardized terminologies, and provides insight into data lineage and transformations subsequent to initial creation
- Completes assigned tasks and projects on time, while proactively communicating with project management or staff leadership to prioritize workflows and mitigate risks. Tracks issues and provides solution-oriented escalation.

- Develops analytics solutions to end user specifications independently and in collaboration with management and/or team members, as well as other members of the organization.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an analytics role required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Demonstrated knowledge of analytics reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlik, SSRS or Business Objects
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize standard system tools to meet functionality needs of end users
- Experienced planning and organizing day-to-day activities, effectively managing more than one task, and meeting established deadlines
- Has held a previous role participating in team projects with exhibited interpersonal cooperation
- Demonstrated use of effective communication and interpersonal relations to achieve established goals
- Proven ability to utilize existing knowledge and experience to enhance processes and other opportunities for improvement to positively impact outcomes
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Epic Proficiency in Clarity application obtained within first year with MemorialCare
