Position Summary
Under the general direction of the supervisor (a Director, Executive Director, or VP), manage the installation, operation, support and maintenance of multiple stand-alone and integrated computing systems for the Information Services (IS) department directly related to Ambulatory Revenue Cycle systems. Serve as the resource for the strategic direction of application software and general automation support of business processes as it relates to Revenue Cycle tools and work flows. Plan, budget, propose, and advocate system upgrades, replacements and additions that support the business plans of the organization. Function as an IS leader and key point of contact for all levels of user management and staff. Collaborate with other IS leaders throughout MemorialCare to provide a unified, high quality, service oriented department.
This position manages the Epic Ambulatory Revenue Cycle systems build team for all professional billing, patient identity, registration, and scheduling work flows. Requires knowledge of Epic functionality, applications, project management concepts and change management processes. Enforces proper documentation of workflows, build, changes, and makes recommendations for improvements. Supervises, educates, trains and mentors staff related to Ambulatory Revenue Cycle systems requirements, work flows, and system build.
Pay Range: $135,220.80 - $202,800
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5 years or more work experience leading a team with direct reports, specifically in professional billing, registration and scheduling, and patient identity settings.
- Epic certifications in Ambulatory Claims, Ambulatory Billing, Prelude, Cadence, and/or ROI/HIM.
- Experienced planning and organizing day-to-day activities for staff, monitoring staff productivity and KPIs, effectively managing more than one task, issue resolution, staff development, and meeting established deadlines.
- Proven experience gathering business requirements, work flow analysis, design techniques, including needs assessment, specification development, quantitative methods, planning and gap analysis.
- Demonstrated use of effective communication and interpersonal relations to achieve established goals.
- Past success leading meetings between business stakeholders, technical resources, and third parties for business requirements and technical solutions.
- Experienced in leading projects, providing forward-thinking consultative guidance and direction on change initiatives, effectively dedicating time across more than one project, and meeting established deadlines.
- Experienced working with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team, and interacting with all levels of the organization.
