Position Summary
The primary objective of the Website Manager position is to drive MemorialCare's digital strategy by ensuring the brand’s websites are optimized and perform at the highest level. The role involves managing the website roadmap, enhancing user experience, improving conversion rates, and supporting marketing campaigns. The Website Manager oversees daily website operations, development, hosting, and security, and ensures compliance with regulatory and privacy standards. This position exists to maintain and continuously improve the organization's websites, aligning them with the overall digital strategy and branding goals
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and optimization of website content to ensure it aligns with the company’s brand and goals. Ensure content is up-to-date, accurate, and engaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, and design to develop and implement web content strategies.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve the website’s visibility and search rankings. Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Implement data-driven changes to optimize user experience and improve overall website performance.
- Manage the website’s technical aspects, including performance, capacity, and scalability. Ensure the website is secure, mobile-friendly, and compatible across different browsers and devices.
- Coordinate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve any website issues promptly.
- Focus on continuous improvement of user experience by conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing feedback. Ensure the website is intuitive, accessible, and provides a seamless user journey.
- Work with designers to create visually appealing and functional web pages that enhance user engagement.
- Lead web projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Clearly communicate project goals, timelines, and progress to stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners as needed, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
- Ensure the website complies with legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws and accessibility standards. Develop and maintain website policies and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web management. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, advocating for and implementing cutting-edge solutions.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on web content management systems and best practices. Foster a culture of digital literacy and continuous learning within the organization.
*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
- 7 to 10 years of proven professional experience in website management (healthcare experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of web development processes, user experience (UX), and design principles
- Proven experience managing complex enterprise websites
- Strong proficiency in content management systems (Drupal and WordPress), HTML, CSS, and web analytics tools
- Strong knowledge and understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies
- Expert web writing and editing skills
- Intermediate Adobe Creative Suite design capabilities
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively communicating complex healthcare information
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for decision-making and campaign optimization
- Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships
- Solid organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Web Design, or a related field
- Advanced Degree preferred)
