Pay Range*: $56.00/hr - $82.00/hr

Bonus: Sign-On - $10,000.00

Position Summary

Performs specific technical duties of a radiation therapist and provides assistance for the proper functioning of the department.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  • Utilizes all electronic systems effectively and appropriately.
  • Demonstrates the required technical knowledge to perform quality imaging for all diagnostic exams and procedures while providing quality patient care and safety. 
  • Performs quality imaging appropriate to patients of all ages and conditions.
  • Assures appropriate patient identification is performed and indication and history for exam is documented.
  • Demonstrates the ability to properly position patients for therapy and to operate radiation therapy equipment according to protocol.
  • Ensures patient and family education is conducted and documented according to department policies.
  • Ability to be at work and be on time.
  • Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives.
  • Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

  • Minimum one-year acute care experience or equivalent preferred

Education/Licensure/Certification

  • Current California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RHA) or Therapeutic Radiologic
  • Technology (RHT) required
  • Current American Heart Associate Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card required
  • Current ARRT (RT) license, Radiation Therapy (preferred)
  • Current Fluoroscopy license in California (preferred)
