The telemetry technicianisan unlicensedcaregiverworking under thedirection of theRegisteredNurse.Thispositionisresponsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiacmonitorsand providesRegisteredNursesand /orclinicianswithimmediatenotificationof anychangesin cardiacrhythms.Thispositionisrequired toperformUnitSecretary dutiesfortheunit asassigned.
Pay Range: $20.55/hr - $29.78/hr
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency.

Minimum of one year acute care experience as a telemetry technician or nursing student who has completed the first semester of nursing school preferred.

Computer, internet, order entry and word processing experience preferred.

Proficient in medical terminology.

Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers card.

Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course or successful passing of hospital specific Basic Dysrhythmia Exam.
