The Patient Access Scheduler I coordinate the daily schedules within the Breast Center. This position is responsible for coordinating and communicating activities between patients, technologists, and Radiologists within the Breast Center and managing the overall flow of patient care. In addition, this position is responsible for the accurate maintenance of patient records and data entry associated with the end to end scheduling process of all Breast Center patients. Lastly, this role also assists with uploading patient medical records into the PACS system and updating the patient medical record for distribution to other facilities, patients, physicians, as requested.
Experience

- 1 Year experience as a patient scheduler in an outpatient medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of Breast Center / General Medical terminology preferred
- Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, and Outlook
Education
List the education licensures or certifications preferred or required to do the job.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred
