Pay Range*: $46.00/hr - $66.00/hr

Position Summary

The Radiology Technologist, CT working in the CAT Scan department is responsible for performing technical duties utilizing CT and Radiologic Imaging equipment. This position is responsible for performing imaging exams and procedures for patients specifically, this incumbent will perform exams using contrast administration. In addition, this position is responsible for fulfilling the clerical duties associated with the performance of these imaging exams and procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  • Utilizes all electronic systems effectively and appropriately to serve the patients requiring imaging exams.
  • Completes clerical duties associated with the performance of imaging procedures such as upload in images into the patient medical record.
  • Performs quality imaging for all diagnostic and CT exams including exams involving the utilization ofcontrast and procedures while providing quality patient care.
  • Ensures patient privacy is maintained by utilizing at least 2 two patient identifiers before proceedingwith any imaging procedure.
  • Educates patients and families on procedure steps as appropriate and answers any questions related totheir care or treatment.
  • Ability to be at work and be on time.
  • Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives.
  • Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

  • 1 Year acute care experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • 1 Year experience in CT & Radiology with contrast administration preferred

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Current CRT License issued by the State of California required
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiology Technologist) certification required
  • Current Fluoroscopy permit required
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Card required
  • Currently ARRT (American Registry of Radiology Technologist) for CT certification preferred
