Position Summary

The Clerk is responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering telephones, relaying messages, receiving and/or conveying information, preparing summaries, sorting and matching documents, filing records, collecting and distributing mail, and routine inventory and supply organization

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

·Under minimum supervision, performs specialized clerical duties which require frequent independent judgement and thorough understanding of applicable procedures. 

·Duties may include such tasks as receiving and/or conveying information, preparation of summaries, sorting and matching documents, filing records, collecting and distributing mail, and routine inventory and supply organization. 

·Customer service skills are critical with the ability to work in a multi-cultural / multi-ethnic environment.   

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

·       2 to 3 years office/clerical experience. 

·       Must have demonstrated skills in filing, use of office business equipment, and appropriate use of telephone. 

·       Must be able to interact effectively with others and demonstrate  problem solving ability. 

·       Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are critical. 

·       Ability to type 35-40 WPM.



·       Associate degree and experience in clinical / medical office setting is preferred.
