This position provides occupational therapy services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in order to facilitate the highest level of independence and recovery from or adaptation to various deficits or disabilities through evaluation and assessment, functional activities, therapeutic exercise, procedures, education and training. This occupational therapist will assist patients and families to resume or assume new life roles. This position will actively participate in departmental program development, quality improvement, educational programs, and other requirements to maintain this level. This position will require a minimal of two weekend days per month.
Pay Range: $58.00/hr.
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. - Strong Neuro Skills preferred
- Strong Vestibular Skills preferred
- Strong Balance Skills preferred
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy from approved program.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of California.
- American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) membership and Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC) membership is recommended.
- AHA CPR certification required.
