Pay Range*: $21.00/hr. - $27.81/hr.

Position Summary

Rehabilitation Technicians perform an important support role in the rehabilitation continuum as care extenders in the delivery of care, as caretakers of the environment of care and as assistants to the supervisors and front office staff in a variety of office support functions. The combination of roles will vary according to the needs of the programs areas to which the Rehabilitation Technician is assigned.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  • Professionally and effectively communicate with patients, their significant others and members of the healthcare team including: active demonstration of excellence in customer service philosophy and service recovery and demonstration of understanding of the need for confidentiality.
  • Ability to prepare patients for treatment.
  • Demonstrate the application, removal, cleaning and storage of clinic specific materials and equipment as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate competency in safety techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in and use clinical based information systems and management tools.
  • Other job tasks as identified by the Clinical Lead, and/or Adult Rehab Manager.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

  • Interest in healthcare career, preferably in Rehabilitation or similar environment.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification.
