Position Summary:
The Surgery Technician scrubs for surgical procedures in the Operating Room at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, as assigned under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Surgery Technician provides safe cost-effective patient care throughout the preoperative, intra-operative, and post-operative periods to the Operating Room patient according to established LBMMC standards.
Pay Range: $35.45 - $41.60
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. - 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technician in an Operating Room is required.
- Graduation from a surgical technician program or equivalent training, is required.
- A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) certification is required.
