Position Summary:

100% of this positions purpose is to ensure the employed specialists at MCMG that are in partnership with hospital or system initiatives are successful in achieving their original goals presented in the governance ROI and updated annual strategies agreed up at the PAC leadership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Position reports to the MCMF COO

Facilitates the development of growth goals and strategies, as informed by the system physician alignment and MCMF executive teams. Assist with a focus on recruitment priorities for high-need specialties in key markets to achieve the aforementioned goals

Lead and develop the specialty service lines that are in partnership with MCMF and MC hospitals to expand critical specialty services amid the regions they serve. Advance effective specialty physician alignment strategies for MCMF.

Help define growth goals in coordination with the physician leaders, foundation, hospital executive teams. Serve as primary liaison for MCMF and entity partner with MCMG employed surgical specialty physicians to achieve initiative goals and promote specialty alignment vehicles.

Facilitate progressing conversations with potential physician partners. In tandem with other stakeholders, negotiate contracts with physician recruitments as needed.

Facilitate improved coordination across specialty alignment models, including MCMG employed specialists and the coordination with affiliated providers, achieve all quality, patient satisfaction and productivity goals. Ensure barriers between MCMF, hospital and physician initiatives are removed prior to any clinical impediment.

Work with system initiatives to improve both employed specialty physician and care team engagement.

Influence & leverage technology to improve workflows and care coordination for service line across continuum

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

·         Minimum 5-10 years of experience in an outpatient healthcare setting and progressive acute care healthcare organization with an emphasis hospital operation, progressive physician relations, organizational development and systems integration.

·         Experience In healthcare operations leadership working in cross functional capacity demonstrating success in development, leading overall entity initiatives, systemwide strategic initiatives

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Education/Licensure: Clinical degree required, MHA or equivalent preferred, Inpatient and outpatient experience required, leading specialty physicians a must
