Position Summary
Under general supervision, Healthcare Analytic Developer delivers analytic solutions in the Physician Data Science department serving MCMF by leveraging the appropriate BI tool for the type of analysis needed.This includes, but is not limited to, static reports, dynamic reports, self-service portals, data exploration, data visualization, and statistical or predictive analysis tools. They can develop complete solutions of high complexity, incorporating source data into existing or new data structures, enriching master data repositories and data dictionaries in the process, and providing appropriate end-user interface(s) to meet the clinical or business intelligence needs of the customer.
Members leverage comprehensive knowledge of systems to provide analytics solutions that meet the customers’ needs. The Analytics team provides accurate and timely assessments and reports using multiple data sources for clinical, administrative, and business data relative to unique changes in the delivery of health care for all venues of care at MCMF. Using advanced statistical, analytical, and reporting techniques provided through the application of SQL, they provide information that can support decisions and deliver actionable insights.
They interpret data to inform patients, consumers and providers as well as improve workflow across the organization by streamlining data processes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
Develops reports, dashboards, and analytics packages using the full range of functionality available through MemorialCare’s business intelligence suite of tools
Processes and analyzes information from any relevant and available data source in support of MemorialCare goals
Ensures that data that is presented to the customer is connected to the enterprise data dictionary, standardized terminologies, and provides insight into data lineage and transformations subsequent to initial creation
Completes assigned tasks and projects on time, while proactively communicating with project management or staff leadership to prioritize workflows and mitigate risks. Tracks issues and provides solution-oriented escalation.
Demonstrates collaboration within and across application teams.
Develops analytics solutions to end user specifications independently and in collaboration with management and/or team members, as well as other members of the organization.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an analytics role required
Minimum 5 years’ experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience working in a Snowflake environment, including data modeling, performance optimization, and query deployment
Demonstrated knowledge of analytics reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlik, SSRS or Business Objects
Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize standard system tools to meet functionality needs of end users
3–5 years of experience developing interactive reporting dashboards using Tableau, with strong skills in data visualization best practices and dashboard performance tuning.
Working knowledge of AI tools and experience integrating AI solutions into analytics reporting workflows for automation and predictive analytics.
Experienced planning and organizing day-to-day activities, effectively managing more than one task, and meeting established deadlines
Has held a previous role participating in team projects with exhibited interpersonal cooperation
Demonstrated use of effective communication and interpersonal relations to achieve established goals
Proven ability to utilize existing knowledge and experience to enhance processes and other opportunities for improvement to positively impact outcomes.
Experienced in healthcare environment preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Certification: Must hold Epic certification with demonstrated proficiency in the Clarity application, or be willing to obtain certification within the first year of employment
