Position Summary
The Senior Clinical Recruiter maintains responsibility for the development and implementation of effective recruitment and retention plans that support the inpatient and clinical hiring and staffing needs of MemorialCare. The position is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. The position supports hiring managers and/or leaders by sourcing, screening, qualifying, and recommending external and internal candidates. The Senior Clinical Recruiter delivers outstanding customer service and collaborates with hiring managers and/or leaders to plan and provide full lifecycle recruitment services. The position is also responsible for providing support and leadership for Talent Acquisition related initiatives and programs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Meet with hiring managers to discuss recruitment strategies and hiring profiles.
Implement recruitment plans, including marketing materials, advertising campaigns, sourcing channels, and related activities.
Manage all phases of the recruitment and hiring cycle through formal intake interviews, including:
Performing needs analysis
Defining position requirements
Developing recruiting strategies
Advertise positions on various websites, source and cold-call candidates, review resumes, prescreen applicants, and conduct interviews.
Ensure all positions are filled within established timelines.
Meet or exceed all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Time-To-Fill metrics set by TA leadership.
Represent MemorialCare at job fairs and other recruitment events.
Screen applications, interview qualified applicants, and make hiring recommendations.
Extend and negotiate job offers.
Review and clarify job descriptions for open positions, confirming minimum and preferred qualifications.
Maintain timely and clear communication with hiring managers, applicants, and the recruitment team.
Respond to applicant inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and job duties.
Provide hiring managers with status updates and strategic recommendations.
Track the status of employment applications, requisitions, and transfer requests for assigned roles.
Ensure job offers comply with company policies and procedures; rescind offers when candidates do not pass pre-employment processes.
Develop and implement methods to improve recruitment processes and services.
Recommend and lead changes to enhance recruitment effectiveness when approved by management.
Implement strategies to reduce 90-day turnover for new hires.
Leverage all established sourcing strategies and maximize available resources, as demonstrated by utilization reports.
Manage human resources and employment-related projects by:
Defining project purpose
Creating milestone documents
Outlining critical tasks and implementation steps
Overseeing project completion
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Outcomes
Provide consultation and develop recruitment strategies with hiring managers to deliver a full-cycle recruitment experience, resulting in high-quality hires within timelines set by TA leadership.
Develop and deliver recruitment and interview training to hiring managers to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and promote a consistent, high-quality hiring process.
Meet or exceed recruitment goals and all assigned service level agreements (SLAs), including:
Time to post approved requisitions
Time to present qualified candidates
Time to offer
Proactively source candidates through ATS, social media, job boards, and other tools to build strong talent pipelines.
Interview prospective candidates, assess qualifications, and present detailed candidate profiles and assessments to hiring managers.
Promote MemorialCare as an employer of choice by sharing information about company culture, benefits, and brand with prospective candidates.
Conduct salary analyses to ensure internal equity and determine appropriate offer rates.
Develop and provide recruitment reports to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Guide and train hiring managers on effective, compliant hiring techniques aligned with MemorialCare policies and federal/state regulations.
Serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, participating in committees and special initiatives as needed.
Establish partnerships with schools and universities to create pipelines for student and graduate talent.
Deliver excellent customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Performance Metrics
Maintain a 90% compliance rate for posting approved requisitions within one business day.
Maintain an 80% compliance rate for completing candidate disposition within three business days.
Meet or exceed the Time to Fill goal established for the Recruitment team.
*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or recruitment, in the healthcare industry, preferred.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in using applicant tracking systems.
- Must have a basic knowledge of applicable state and federal labor laws relating to employment and selection.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) is a plus.
