Position Summary
The Executive Director, Women’s Service Line is responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating patient care services within the Division of Nursing, ensuring that all resources are directed in a cost-effective manner to provide high-quality patient care. In addition, this position provides leadership to the management and clinical teams responsible for delivering Women’s Services across the continuum of care.
The Executive Director, Women’s Service Line is responsible for supporting the vision and goals of the Division of Nursing. In addition, the Executive Director oversees the daily operations of Women’s Services, including human resource management, physician relations, practice development, quality improvement, strategic planning, and fiscal oversight across the continuum of care. A multidisciplinary, patient- and family-centered approach is utilized to integrate functional operations and ensure the delivery of coordinated, high-quality services throughout Women’s Services.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
· Minimum 10 years' relevant experience preferred.
· Minimum 5 years' leadership experience required.
· Clinical background in Perinatal Services preferred.
· Experience in union environment and employment management practices preferred.
· Knowledge of regulatory requirements including Title 22, Title 24 and JCAHO preferred.
· Knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles preferred.
· Knowledge of quality and performance improvement activities preferred.
· Knowledge of word processing application programs, spread sheets preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
· Registered Nurse licensed in California required.
· Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) required.
· Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
· Board Certification in Advanced Nursing Administration (NEA-BC) required.
