Position Summary

The RN, Registered Nurse 8-Hr provides safe, cost-effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing, for the Welcome Baby Department at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.

The Welcome Baby (WB) Program is a free, voluntary home visitation program designed to promote maternal, infant, and family health through prenatal and postpartum support services. I was blessed to discover MemorialCare as my forever home. I was especially awestruck by the longevity, unity, and cohesiveness among the staff. Fast-forward 16 years, and I still love the daily challenges, heartaches, victories, and growth that I encounter caring for the critically ill. The ICU team is grounded in collaboration, teamwork, and respect.”
