Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist II is responsible for providing marketing support for service lines, projects, and events (assigned to them).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  • Supports marketing to execute integrated marketing communication plans aligned with business goals.

  • Supports patient journey mapping and testing, and data tracking and reporting for key campaigns and initiatives as needed.

  • Independently leads event planning, coordination and execution

  • Creates content for websites, collateral, etc. and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information and following brand standards

  • Builds a strong partnership with key internal stakeholders by fostering a "Simply Better" approach and responding timely.

  • Coordinates and staffs on-site and off-site events during weekdays and weekends and prepares post-event recap reports.

  • Supports promoting events and publishing events to the website

  • Responsible for supporting marketing’s role for provider onboarding and offboarding, and collaborates with MarComm colleagues to ensure timely execution of all tactics within the process.

  • Manages video and photo assets using the DAM and department project management platform

  • Plans and staffs photo and video shoots.

  • Supports social media as needed by capturing photos, videos, etc.

  • Supports inventory management of branded items and apparel.Fields requests from across the health system for event related materials and ensures there is inventory on hand to fulfill the requests.

  • Staffs company, partnership and sponsorship events, as needed.

  • Proactively audits marketing collateral, signage and online content as needed.

  • Be at work and be on time.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing or communications required. Healthcare or health-related marketing experience preferred.

  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs

  • Strong writing, copy editing, research, autonomy and organizational skills

  • Ability to work with hospital management, staff and agency partners as required and under minimal supervision

  • Previous experience using project management systems, like Monday.com, is preferred but not required

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • B.A. or B.S. in marketing, business or related discipline.
